LATISSE solution is an FDA-approved prescription treatment that is used to grow eyelashes and make them longer, thicker and darker.
LATISSE is believed to affect the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways: first, it increases the length of this phase; and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase.
Hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.
You may see results starting at 8 weeks with full results at 12 to 16 weeks. The growth is gradual over time.
No, LATISSE does not work in place of mascara. It is a solution treatment for inadequate or not enough lashes and requires a prescription from a physician such as Dr. O’Connell. However, mascara can be used on your eyelashes in addition to LATISSE™.
LATISSE is the first and only prescription treatment approved by the FDA for inadequate or not having enough eyelashes, growing them longer, fuller and darker.
First, ask your doctor if LATTISE is right for you. Although any doctor can prescribe LATISSE, Dr. O’Connell is more familiar with this product than many other physicians.
Your eyelashes can be expected to return to their previous appearance over several weeks to months.
Do not use LATISSE if you are allergic to one of its ingredients.
